Embrace the side hustle.

Author-First

Unlike traditional publishers, our sales model directs the vast majority of book revenue to authors instead of ourselves.

This means instead of taking 90 percent of the revenue from every book sold, we only take 10. Our agreements and contracts are highly flexible and we own none of your stories, characters or intellectual property.

We believe digital publishing means more books from more authors will be better for both our writers and our business.

Digitally-Focused

Even for published authors, making a full-time career out of their books is extremely rare. Publishing contracts are designed to turn the business a profit, not the author.

However, digital marketplaces have fundamentally changed the math.

We don’t think books need to sell a hundred thousand copies to succeed. We believe smaller stories for smaller audiences can be both valuable to readers and lucrative for authors.

A Modern Publishing House

There has never been a better time to write a book. But while technology has evovled to allow more books from more writers to reach more people, traditional publishing models remain frustratingly locked in the past.

Our agreements and contracts are highly flexible. Our royalty agreements heavily favor authors, not publishers. And our production schedules move in weeks not years.

It’s your story. We just want to help tell it.

“The average trade-published author earns approximately 7.5% of their’s books cover price, and those with agents lose a further 15% of that. Self-publishing platforms like Amazon, Apple Books, Ingram Spark and Kobo pay up to 70% of each book sold to authors. Those indie authors who sell direct to readers from their own websites take in up to 96% of the value of the book.”
